SENIOR MSP IT SUPPORT ENGINEER

Salary: £28k - £35k
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established Managed IT Services Provider (MSP) in Exeter.
Solve-IT are a customer focused MSP delivering cloud-based IT solutions and Service Desk support to a wide range of small and medium sized businesses.
A successful applicant has the experience of working within an MSP environment and seeks an opportunity to widen their technical knowledge as part of a high-performing team.
This role has significant opportunities for those with strong all-round technical abilities, combined with excellent communication skills, interested in joining an ambitious ever-growing company.
They must be confident, friendly with a proactive and enthusiastic approach to the role; have good organisation skills, especially the ability to multitask and prioritise workload via predefined SLAs, plus have the capability to learn fast and retain information.
In addition, a successful applicant will have the personality to engage with a variety of clients irrespective of status, including board members/VIPs.
Technical Skills / Knowledge: Required / Preferred

MSP Support Engineer: 1 year (Required)

MS-900: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals Certification (Preferred)

VoIP Cloud Telephony: 2 years (Preferred)

Endpoint Detection & Response: 2 Years (Required)
Experience

Microsoft / Office 365 / Azure / SharePoint

MDM software including Microsoft Intune / Meraki

Experience working on major projects as part of a team

Networking support including: Routers / Switches / vLANs / WiFi

Windows server knowledge including: Hyper-V / vSphere virtualisation

Remote support software such as TeamViewer and ScreenConnect

RMM tool knowledge, ConnectWise Automate desirable

Endpoint Security software including: Malwarebytes / SentinelOne / Webroot

General PC / Mac trouble shooting skills

Telephony / Cloud VoIP systems experience

Cloud Backup Solutions, Acronis Cyber Cloud desirable

Special Features

Based in Clyst St. George, near Exeter, with some occasional travel, which could require a valid passport and driving license.

Service hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm - Monday to Friday, except Bank Holidays

The post holder will need to take part in an out of hours support rota and occasional out of hours work, which is an enhancement to the base salary

28 days statutory holiday, including bank holidays, with up to 5 additional days accrued following 2 years employment
