I have a similar but different problem, I get a message: " Outlook was redirected to the server to get new settings for your account geoff@ local.....etc. Do you to allow this server to configure your settings?
I am then invited to Allow or Deny. Neither makes any difference> Any views?

Fantastic and great advice! This has been very frustrating and not being able to send emails from Outlook has really crippled my work these past few days.
